JET-BOAT RIDE - DOCKYARD DEPARTURE

Our captain has a 30' rigid inflatable boat with a jet drive and a great sense of humor. Those two qualities go far on and around an island like Bermuda. He has also recognized the two main ports on the island and has set up two different tours to accommodate those locations.

From the Dockyard, you will travel through the world's smallest draw bridge. How small is it? A mere 22 inches! That experience alone is worth the trip! You will visit the Long Tail nesting area and lots of other ecological sights that are located in this portion of the island. You will see the historic cedar tree blight that wiped out the majority of cedar trees here. As you travel, and you will be going past the estate of one of the Time/Warner executives, you will hear the fascinating history of the Royal Naval Dockyard.

You'll have lots of Kodak moments, including the sight of Spanish Point and the Royal Naval Dockyard from where you sit. As your route turns into a circle, you will hear the tales of the rich and famous who have and still do live on the island and you will be able to view many of their homes only visible from the water.
