Trip Assured main feature is service,
including all types of travel assistance from our hotline
800-236-0079. Medical and pre-trip assistance information is
available 24 hours a day from On Call International. Our
services include medical evacuation if you need to be
transported to a different hospital or treatment facility, or
back home while on your trip. Trip Assured subscribers will be
given a toll free number with their contract for
service.
Since any indemnification is ancillary, this
protection does not cover loss or damage caused by
participation in athletic event, mountain climbing and motor
sport including training or practice, normal pregnancy or
childbirth, any unlawful act, mental or psychological or
nervous disorder, alcohol or substance abuse, or any open date
or stand-by tickets. 10 Day "FREE LOOK"
If for any
reason you wish to cancel the service contract with Trip
Assured, Inc. you may do so in writting within 10 of the date
of the contract, if your trip has not started. There is a FULL
refund.
Service is avalable to US Citizens traveling
anywhere as long as the destination or any part of the trip is
not listed by the United States State Department as a "travel
warning" area. Services begin only when full payment has been
recieved and enrollment information has been accepted by Trip
Assured, Inc. Services are non-transferable and after 10 days,
non-refundable. Trip cancellation, interruption, and default
services are effective the day after acceptance. All other
services start when you start your trip and end the date the
trip is completed or scheduled to end, whichever is earlier.
These dates are the dates supplied by you in your application
for membership services.

All Emergency Medical Service is arranged
by On Call International. Airline penality protection is for
any reason you wish to change dates of travel. If you loose
your baggage, Trip Assured, Inc. and On Call International
will find them. The activity of the service contract of Trip
Assured, Inc. is not compensation for damage or loss, but
service to its members as described in the service contract.
Trip Cancellation and Interruption
service includes the rescheduling of your trip to another date
in the event of unforeseeable sickness, injury or death to
you, your immediate family member or a traveling companion. In
this event Trip Assured will pay the vender any added cost or
fees. In the event of your death, Trip Assured will seek a
full refund of your deposits with the vender. Injury or
sickness must be so disabiling as to reasonably cause a trip
to be cancelled or interrupted upon the advise of a licensed
physician.
Vender default means the bankruptcy of a
cruise line, airline or tour operator that is an active member
of the United States Tour Operators Association. In the event
of vender default, Trip Assured, Inc. will find another
carrier so you can still take your trip. Subscribers are
advised that they may have coverage from other sources that
already provide some of the benefits of Trip Assured. Read the
